Transitions is a premier program that supports teens and young adults with autism spectrum disorders and other learning differences with college, career, and independent life. Peer Mentors develop an enduring and trusting relationship with our students throughout their journey, whether in higher education, in their careers or in learning to live independently. Candidates must be able to pass a Background Check.
Part-time Career And Academic Mentors
Positions available at flagship campus in Mayfield, NY; in Albany, NY and in Cobleskill, NY
We are seeking part-time career and academic peer mentors to work within our Transitions program for college-bound young men and women with learning differences. This program is designed to work with students who are working toward a college degree or entering the workforce, helping them to become more independent and achieve their life goals.
The ideal candidates for consideration will be currently enrolled in college or have recently graduated from college and will serve as role models to the participating students, fostering social and personal growth. A positive and enthusiastic outlook is required.
